Depression

Some symptoms might include changes in appetite, sleep, motivation, enjoyment in life, social withdrawal, suicidal or homicidal thoughts, memory problems, tearfulness, and might even interfere with self care activities. This mood state is classified as more severe and has substantial morbidity and dysfunction. There are less severe forms of depression that might also benefit from treatment. Treatment includes anything from psychotherapy to medication and psychotherapy, to hospitalization.
